Kumar has made significant contributions to extension services, seeds, Fertilizers, Pesticides, and administration. His accolades include being honored as the Best Agricultural Officer for 5 times and Best Assistant Director of Agriculture 3 times in the state of Andhra Pradesh and receiving the prestigious Best Joint Director of Agriculture award 3 times from Commissioners of Agriculture, Hyderabad.
