About

Mrs. Chandrika Kanumuri is the Director of People and Culture at Neurosynk Research, bringing over two decades of diverse experience across healthcare, education, and social development sectors. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Economics, and Sociology from Bangalore University, an MBA from Arizona State University (USA), and a Graduate Certificate in Psychology from Harvard Extension School.

Blending strategic business acumen with a deep understanding of human behavior, Chandrika has successfully navigated leadership roles that bridge organizational growth and people-centric development. Her professional journey started with ICORE Healthcare (Magellan Health Services), USA and then moved on to Naandi Foundation, India where she spearheaded CSR initiatives in their education portfolio and contributed to the landmark Teenage Girls (TAG) Survey (2018), a first-of-its-kind nationwide study on adolescent girls’ well-being in India.

In 2016, she co-founded the Balamitra Foundation, a pioneering non-profit that empowers rural student communities by involving urban student volunteers with interventions including educational support, improving adolescent health through sport and reading, and menstrual hygiene support programs. Under her guidance, Balamitra has been implementing grassroots initiatives focused on improving school attendance, health awareness, and gender inclusivity across multiple districts.

A recognized voice in the social and developmental space, Chandrika has been invited as a speaker at conferences and forums organized by government bodies, NGOs, and media houses, including events hosted by UNICEF and Andhra Pradesh Human Resource Development Institute, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh, and Eenadu Vasundhara (ETV Network)
